This week's tourney will be held at Idol's sports bar. It is located at Rand and Dundee in Palatine. Doors open at 10, and play will start at 11. I will also bring all remaining trophies to this tournament.

There is a $10 buy in for each tourney. No one can win more than one MVP "trip" per year. Depending on turnout, I may modify the race. You will play your skill level first...

This tourney is for the division winners from the spring session. It will be held on June 4th and 5th...The matches will be played at two separate locations in the Palatine area. (Idols and Fox and Hounds) Teams will play 3 rounds to earn a Citywide qualification.

Split first round: Even though we have a total of 19 tables, there are more teams playing than I have tables to play on in one round, so the first round will be split between Friday PM (7:30 pm start), and Saturday AM (10 am start). Teams will get their choice of start date until the table limit is reached on either day. (First come, first served. As you win, please call me with your choice.)

Idols is located at 1601 N. Rand Rd in Palatine (That is the intersection of Rand and Dundee roads.)

Fox and Hounds is located at 910 West Dundee in Arlington Hts. (That is near the intersection of 53 and Dundee...and about a mile down the road from Idol's.

Friday teams will play one round starting at 7:30 pm. The winners will come back at 2:00pm on Saturday for the second and third rounds.

Saturday teams will start play at 10 am, and play three rounds that day. There should be NO play on Sunday.

All division winning teams from the Fall session should attend this tournament for their chance to go to the Citywide. Previously qualified teams will be playing for a bye in the Citywide competition.

At Quentin Corner Pocket we have handicapped tournaments on Tueday, Wednesday and Thursday nights. We also offer free pool lessons from an SL7 (you just pay for an hour worth of table time and the lesson is free.) Ladies always play free every Tuesday from 2PM until midnight and students with a valid school ID play all day on Wednesday for just $5.
