At this time, it is open to League operators who participate in the setup, tear down, and running of the tournament is Springfield. I'm using this poll to decide if there is enough LEGITIMATE interest in the tournament for me to commit my time to the event.

To answer your question, I believe that Gregg is participating...being the tournament type of guy he is...so the answer is yes it is open to his players. You will see something about it on his site when the details are more definite.

The entry is $400.00 per team
There is still discussion on teams from non-participating LO's

I think it is a good Idea, however, economic conditions may sway a vote as to travel, room and entry. Ray Eskuchen

Why Springfield? There are plenty of venues much closer. It is too costly to travel so far, if you're not a real strong team.

It appears to be a state tourney and therefore the venue is located more centrally I would guess.

The Idea of Springfield is the central location. I also see the economics of the distance,
The allotment of teams is 3 per LO
3 people from each handicap , except the 2-3 bracket ,is 3 combined
the flyer and info is up on my site chicagocentral.apaleagues.com
If you want to see more detailed info and the cost

thanks to all

They should include Hotel, it will be difficult to find a hotel especially if your not familiar with the area.
